MEET SAMMIE

SUPPORT WORKER

Hello! My name is Sammie and I am a Support Worker. I am English and have been living in Australia for the last 18 months. I have over 7 years’ experience supporting children and adults. When I was in the UK I started my career with disability support in a residential home, supporting children and young adults with high behaviours and complex needs for 5 years. I then went onto to further my experience out in the community supporting children and adults as an Emergency Care Assistant before coming to Australia.

My passion for supporting individuals started from a young age and the love for helping people in day to day life has grown ever since.

I love being a part of a person’s growth and development and being a key aspect in assisting them with hitting their goals and achievements and being able to celebrate alongside them. When you don’t find me at work you’ll catch me at the beach, reading a good book, at a local market! Pretty much anywhere outdoors!

MEET CODY

SUPPORT WORKER

Hi! I’m Cody, a Support Worker and I’ve truly found my calling in helping people live the lives they deserve. Before moving into this role, I served in the Australian Defence Force as a Fitter Armourer where I developed resilience, discipline, and a strong sense of service. For almost three years now, I have been working within the NDIS, supporting people with a wide range of challenges including autism spectrum disorder and intellectual impairments.

People often describe me as a gentle giant, caring, approachable, and someone who builds rapport quickly. I love creating meaningful connections, whether that is running alongside clients, supporting them through their daily goals, or helping them discover their strengths and independence. I especially enjoy going roller skating or ice skating with clients and who knows, maybe one day I will even become a figure skater.

I call Aspley home where I live with my beautiful partner Jordan. Outside of work, I keep active through Brazilian jiu jitsu and weight lifting which keeps me grounded and focused. In everything I do, I bring a mix of strength and gentleness to ensure that every client I support feels valued, respected, and empowered on their journey.

jaime

MEET JAIME

SUPPORT WORKER

Hi, I’m Jamie – also known as “The Big Fella”!
At 6 foot 5, the nickname seems to have stuck – but what really defines me is my passion for empowering people to live their best lives. With over 25 years of hands-on experience across aged care, disability support, mental health, liaison roles, and care management, there’s not much that surprises me anymore. I hold Certificates III in both Aged Care and Disability, and recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Community Services and Management. My journey has always been about supporting people from all walks of life and helping them see what they’re truly capable of. Alongside my partner Debbie, we’ve run successful property services businesses—indoor and outdoor—for over 20 years. From landscaping design to short-order cooking (yes, I’ve got the skills—even if the diploma’s gone walkabout!), I’m a hands-on kind of bloke who loves variety and getting stuck in. I believe in having fun, not taking life too seriously, and sharing a laugh whenever possible. I’m also a massive sports fan and always up for a good yarn. My goal? To help others enjoy life, reach their potential, and have a bloody good time doing it.
