At Engage U, we support people of all ages to live independently, achieve their goals, and enjoy a better quality of life. Whether through the NDIS, Aged Care or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, we provide personalised support, allied health services and nursing care tailored to each person’s unique needs and circumstances.

We work alongside individuals, families, carers and healthcare professionals to deliver practical, person centred support that builds confidence, promotes independence and creates meaningful outcomes. Our experienced team is committed to providing high quality care with integrity, compassion and respect.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling, connected and meaningful life, regardless of age, ability or circumstance.

Engage U is dedicated to providing exceptional support, allied health and nursing services to people of all ages through the NDIS, Aged Care and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. We provide the care, expertise and encouragement people need to maintain their independence, achieve their goals and live life on their terms. Through genuine relationships and person centred care, we promote independence, encourage community participation and enhance quality of life for every individual and family we support.

Our vision at Engage U is to remove barriers to independence by delivering personalised support that empowers people to live life on their terms. We aspire to create inclusive communities where children, adults, older Australians and veterans are valued, supported and given every opportunity to reach their full potential.

about nigal

Nigal, our CEO and lead advisor has a rich background in education and a passion for social justice. A dad and a respected community member, he advocates for social equality and inclusion.
With a Bachelor of Primary Education, post – graduate studies in Leadership, Positive Psychology and International Education, and extensive experience in leadership roles within mainstream and special education settings, he has a proven track record of fostering inclusive environments for marginalised communities.
Notably, he spearheaded the growth of the Edmund Rice Education Inala Flexible Learning Centre, supporting students from diverse backgrounds to achieve academic success.
In his role as Foundational Principal of The Sycamore School , he successfully established Queensland’s first Independent Special School for young people Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder only in thirty years, demonstrating adept financial management and innovative program development. Finally, only one of a very few people in Australia, founded his own school, The Younity School (formally known as Connections Community College)
His leadership style and model of care has built genuine relationships, drove organisational change, and cultivated positive workplace cultures aligned with core values.
He is committed to championing the needs of children with disabilities and their families.
